Ofelia A. Olivero has pioneered the elucidation of the genotoxicity induced in pregnant women by drugs taken to prevent HIV-1 vertical transmission. The health of women during pregnancy and the wellbeing of the newborn have been her focus and concern in the quest to understand the latent toxicities that can develop into disease later in life. Her contributions helped shape the observation that AZT and other nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors were responsible for DNA damage in utero and later induction of tumorigenesis in rodents. Marcelo L. Larramendy, Ph.D. is Professor of Molecular Cell Biology, La Plata National University, Argentina. He is Principal Researcher, National Scientific and Technological Research Council of Argentina since 1981, former member of the Executive Committee of the Latin American Association of Environmental Mutagensis, Teratogenesis, and Carcinogenesis, author of more than 400 scientific papers in the field, including scientific publications in reviewed journals, research papers and conferences worldwide. He is recipient of several national and international awards, regular Lecturer at The International A. Hollaender Courses by the IAEMS, Former Guest Scientist at NIH, USA and University of Helsinki, Finland, and Expert in Molecular Cytogenetcis, Genetic Toxicology and Ecotoxicology.

Gerhard Eisenbrand is Professor Emeritus at the University of Kaiserslautern, Department of Chemistry, Division of Food Chemistry and Toxicology. His research waspublished in more than 350 peer reviewed scientific publications. He mainly focuses on mechanisms of actions of (geno) toxic and various anticancer agents, metabolism and biokinetics, recent and current research interactions of food constituents/contaminants with biomolecules in the organism, within the context of food safety and beneficial/ adverse effects relevant to human health, in experimental and human intervention studies. He was long acting (1995 to 2013) chair of the Senate Commission on Food Safety (SKLM) of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and is currently Scientific President of ILSI Europe.

Amita Srivastava working as Poison Information Consultant in the National Poisons Information Centre of AIIMS has completed her PhD degree at the age of 29 years from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. She has published a number of papers in national and international journals. She is a life member of Society of Toxicology, India and also the member of Indian Society of Toxicology. She is in the panel of reviewing committee of Indian Journal of Pharmacology. She has been co-guide of many PhD students of AIIMS. Friday E. Uboh completed his Ph.D at the age of 35 from University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria, and is presently an Associate Professor of Biochemistry, with Toxicology as his area of research interest. He served as the acting Head of Biochemistry Department in the Department of Biochemistry University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria, from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Uboh is a member of Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria.
