Biography
He graduated with honors in Agricultural Sciences in 1992 and obtained the right to drive Agronomist in 1993. You benefit from a grant from the CNR biennial study from 1993-95 and a CNR-EEC exchange for one year (1995). It hired under fixed-term contract as a researcher at ISPA in 1997-2000.Become a researcher at ISPA since 02/01/2001. In 2014 he qualified as Associate Professor of Microbiology (07 / F2) and Plant Pathology (07 / D1). His main research interests are in the morphology, biology, eco-physiology, taxonomy and phylogeny of the species of toxigenic fungi. It is also an expert on collection and conservation of filamentous fungi, mycology, microbiology, molecular biology, PCR methods, biological assays, computing and database management. He has been involved in more than 20 ministerial and European projects, and was author or co- author of 75 publications with articles on international editorial board magazines. It also deals with the Scientific-Administrative management of ISPA iTEM Collection.
Research Interest
His main research interests are in the morphology, biology, eco-physiology, taxonomy and phylogeny of the species of toxigenic fungi. It is also an expert on collection and conservation of filamentous fungi, mycology, microbiology, molecular biology, PCR methods, biological assays, computing and database management.
